Wordless Wednesday: Sail Away With Me

For some reason David Grey's "Sail Away With Me" has been on heavy rotation in my head all day. Perhaps its the nice breeze coming off of the Bay or the gorgeous sky above me, but I have a huge urge to raise the jib and catch some wind in my sails...

Patio Pefection

The roomie and I have a small patio connected to our apartment. It overlooks a fairly large fenced in yard peppered with trees and small plants. Currently its a sparse mess consisting of a table, two chairs and a grill. Nothing special. Recently I have been wanting to transform it into a beautiful patio oasis, one where I can entertain or read a book or just sit and think about the world. Here are some excellent ideas....

Maybe a small fire pit....

Or lighting enhancements....

Possibly infuse some exotic plants into the equation...

Go white on white to open up the space...

 Experiement with diferent textures and prints...

I suppose the possibilities are endless. Time to use my imagination....

Good Morning Lovelies! I hope you all had an amazing weekend. I spent mine lazily lounging by (and in) the Bay. It was hot hot hot! Luckily we survived the massive storm that passed through the area on Friday night and the power stayed on. Most other folks in the area, weren't so lucky.
