Fashion Roundup: The Oscars

This morning I had to go for an extra shot in my Venti Skinny Vanilla Latte thanks in part to the Oscars. The late night was worth it due to the phenomenal fashion showcased from some of Hollywood's most talented actors. The "Old Hollywood" look was in full effect and I couldn't have been happier!

Naomi has been killing it on the Red Carpet!

Best Dressed goes to Kerri Washington who
is simply stunning in this coral Miu Miu gown

JLaw loves her some Dior
and I love me some J Law



Amanda Seyfried looked ethereal in
Alexander McQueen

And some not so great looks:

 



One word: heinous. I'm sorry JHud, this dress
is doing you no honors.

Its not so much the dress as it is the overall
sloppy look that is Kristen Stewart.
 

With so much going on with this Oscar de la Renta,
you forget how lovely Amy Adams is.

Worst dressed goes to Mrs. Hathaway.
This was supposed to be her moment
and home girl dropped the ball in this
GOOP inspired Prada

Love the color, hate the ruffles.
How could Jennifer Garner even sit
down with all that junk on the trunk?

Target for the Win!

Last night I went into Target for two items and came out $150.00 poorer. I swear that place is a black hole where my money gets lost forever. Anywho, I did score some awesome items whilst lost in a sea of unnecessary things...

too cute to pass up!

fun and funky

Mint blouse, perfect for the upcoming
change in seasons

This Vanilla Amber candle by
Bella smells exquisite

Olay Regenerist eye serum
and lash enhancer..
I shall review it soon!

You can never have too many

(or so I told myself)

I may seriously have a problem...

Fashion Roundup: The Grammy's

Well I can honestly say that last night's fashion at the Grammy's was down right tragic! While this is a time to show your energy and individuality, it is still a Red Capet event. Between too many cut out dresses, floral prints and awkward hemlines it was difficult to choose some winners.

 

But here are my votes for fashion hits:

 

Rihanna was hands down my favorite look of the night.
She sure is beautiful!

Solange rocked this emerald gown but kept it funky
in spikey stilettos and natural hair

Taylor Swift was looking spicy in this nod to the Greeks

Carrie Underwood, was as always timelessly beautiful with elegance to boot

 

And a bunch of misses:

 

Oh J Lo, when is enough enough?

I am sure Kimbra wishes this was a dress "that she used to know"

Worst dressed goes to Adele. This is one note she couldn't hit

Florence Welch is known for her ballsy fashion sense but this just looks senseless.
Is she a rockstar or a rock?

Florals? check. Cut outs? check. Awkward hemline? check.

I do wish Miranda Lambert would learn a bit about proportions. This just
makes her look top heavy and the earring are taking away from her gorgeous fce

Just add this to my list of "things Katy Perry wears that I will never understand"

There is just something about Alicia Key's dress that just doesn't sit right with me.
Maybe its the snakeskin, or the awkward bed skirt hemline. Or perhaps its because
I have seen the top of it in the VS catalog...
