Friday Fab Five
Ah the weekend is finally here...just 5 more hours until I am free to do as I please (which isn't too much this weekend thankfully). Programs start Monday so pardon my absences from here on out. Life gets a little hectic for me during the program season!
Here are five fabulous products I am currently loving...
1. Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara: Its no secret that I am a mascara junkie. On any given day I use about 3 different kinds in one sitting (don't judge). This one from Bare Minerals has the perfect brush to keep clumping at bay. I use this as my "finishing" layer to ensure beautifully even and intense lashes.
2. Nice and Easy Root Touch Up: I know you aren't supposed to dye your hair from a box but when a gal is 4 weeks into her hair color and those pesky roots start to show, we tend to get a little desperate. While I vow to NEVER dye my hair from a box again, this isn't as harsh or permanent so in my book its okay! The colors match virtually any color and in just 10 short minutes those icky roots are no more. An added bonus: my hair felt softer afterwards!
3. Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer: With the changing of the seasons comes a change in my daily makeup routine. I always tackle the colder months with my beloved Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer, however since there are still some humid days lingering around I opted for the Oil Free version to keep the shine at bay. The colors are highly pigmented so the coverage is flawless, yet lightweight and breathable as well. It's perfect for every day use.
4. Essie Stylenomics: This color just screams Autumn! The deep green hue is perfectly on trend with the surge of Emerald colors this season. Top it off with a gold accent finger and you are good to go!
5. Goody Quik Style Paddle Brush: If you are like me and don't alway (okay ever) have time to dry your hair in the morning this brush is a dream come true! The bristles work like a towel to soak up excess water from your hair while smoothing down fly aways. I haven't switched up brush styles in over 4 years so this purchase was really going out on a limb for me, but I couldn't be happier!

Rustic Interiors
There's just something about rustic interiors in the home that instantly draw my eye. Perhaps they mirror my family's yearly skiing trips, my penchant for beautifully exposed wood or my love of snuggling up next to a fire place. Regardless of why, I just can't seem to get enough of lovely rustic interiors such as these...
